Wellington a village in Palm Beach County just west of West Palm Beach and the fifth largest municipality in the county is the most populous village according to US Census in 2014. This is not your regular village by any means having been named in the Top 100 Best Places to Live in 2010 by Money Magazine. Originally, it was a large strawberry patch in the world on a land called Flying Cow Ranch. In the 1950s Wellington was a swampland but Charles Oliver Wellington. Its founder planned the development of the area and in 1972 started up until 1990s. Today, it is home to an international community and is center for equestrian sports. Wellington is globally recognized as a destination for polo and equestrian competitions. Three events from January to April; Winter Equestrian Festival, Palm Beach International Polo Season and the International Gay Polo Tournament fill these social scenes like no other. Today, Wellington is an affluent community with plenty of planned parks, attractive neighborhood and high standard quality schools.
