AVMS offers a premier Montessori education and full day care for children six weeks to six years in beautifully designed classrooms equipped with authentic Montessori materials.

We are fortunate to have a group of dedicated and skilled teachers who provide superior education and care enabling development of the “whole child.” We are located in Libertyville, which is in close proximity to Mundelein, Vernon Hills, Gurnee and Grayslake. Our school is housed in a well designed building with large classrooms flooded with natural light and a large play area that allows for many happy hours of outdoor play time. In addition to our strong academic emphasis, we also offer a rich and varied enrichment curriculum, which provides abundant learning opportunities to our children in the most formative years of their life. We encourage independence and self-directed learning, which results in social grace, respect for others, and a positive attitude towards school, adults and peers. Our children develop a positive self-image and are motivated and enthusiastic learners not only at our school, but in elementary school and beyond.
