Mother of Christ is a Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of MIami

This parish was founded in 1983 in Miami, Florida, and parishioners started celebrating Mass, both in English and Spanish, in private homes and in the Bent Tree Elementary School cafeteria. It was with the help of the Women’s Club that the parish organized its first outreach group ministering the needy. Soon other ministries were established like the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, the CCD program and a youth group. Through various fund raising activities, future dreams were planned and realized. The new parish center, dedicated in 1990, provided meeting rooms and class rooms of the growing parish offering the opportunity to many ministries and reach the needs of the community and cater to the most needy. The Stewardship Program was instrumental in encouraging and educating the parishioners to share their time, treasure and talents in various ways to support the growing needs of our community. Today there is a new school, offering Catholic education to students from Kindergarten to 8th Grade, as well as a Learning Center offering day care and pre-Kinder education to children from eighteen months to PK4.
