The history of the beginning of the church of Hialeah dates back to the year 1958 when in December of that year the first Hispanic church in Miami was founded, which for the year 1960 met in the social room of the church "Miami Temple", the building of the current Central Church of Miami, with its membership of 40 to 50 members. The church grew and a few years later they managed to rent a church building on 4th Street and 4th Avenue of Northwest Miami with Pastor Hermes Méndez and later Pastor Ernesto Santos. In 1969 came Pastor Eradio Alonso, who came from Cuba after spending time in Spain, and began working as an assistant in the church in Miami. Two of the elders of the church were brothers Ismael Cruz and Emilio Girado who, like a group of about 45 people, lived in Hialeah. Pastor Méndez proposed that work be opened in Hialeah, for which they invited Pastor Carlos Aeschliman to hold conferences, at the end of which a marriage was baptized, and together with the group of brothers mentioned above, the Hialeah church was organized. on October 19, 1969, with Pastor Eradio Alonso at the head of it and having as a meeting place the auditorium of the Hialeah Hospital. A few months after the church was organized, they were told that they could not continue to meet in the hospital auditorium and were left literally "with the pulpit on their backs", carrying it in the trunk of Pastor Alonso's car. Some brothers who lived on 42nd Street and LeJeune Road offered their home, where they were meeting for a time and then rented the auditorium of the Flamingo elementary school.
